Do you recommend running OTA now or will you announce when a firmware is available? Currently The FM radio freezes on a station and can’t change channels. Can’t change on steering wheel or on the touch screen.

Hello, if your head unit is the 4-core version, I recommend not running the OTA update just yet. This is because I haven’t uploaded the latest firmware package to the OSS storage bucket, so the application may not recognize the firmware suitable for this configuration.

I expect to upload the latest firmware by next Tuesday. At that time, you can proceed with the OTA update.

If you’re currently facing system issues, you can try resetting to factory settings, or you can download the firmware package from the firmware update thread on the forum and use a USB drive for the update.

Regarding the OTA update, I recommend installing this APK software first. With this APK, you can now proceed with upgrading the MCU firmware version and core system applications.

Currently, you can manually check and upgrade to the latest MCU firmware version via this APK. Once the system firmware packages are uploaded, simply click Check for Updates, and the OTA app will automatically retrieve the latest version suitable for your device. Then, you just need to click Download to complete the update.

Hello, your MCU firmware version is up to date. The latest system firmware version is 250306.

As for the 8-core system firmware, I haven’t uploaded it yet. I’m currently performing testing and verification to ensure there are no issues. Once testing is complete, I will upload the update package immediately. I expect the testing to be finished by tomorrow.

On octa-core systems, both the MCU and app updates are downloading and installing correctly.
For quad-core units, the related files will be uploaded as soon as the new firmware package is available. There is no need to reinstall the OTA application.

Hello. I have Car Radio for Toyota RAV4 2007-2012: [2G+64G] 9 Inch 1280 * 800 and all calls the caller has an echo. I am using external MIC and there is also a MIC on the head unit. Any firmware update to fix this? If I need to do a firmware update can you instruct me how using USB stick?

Upgrade went in with no issues. Thanks so much. I still have the echo on the other caller side. Still have the external mic in and can’t seem to find anywhere in new upgrade where I can disable the mic on the head unit. Help!

The built-in microphone and the external microphone can sometimes interfere with each other, as they essentially “compete” for the same function, which can result in poor call quality, including issues like background noise and echo. To improve call clarity and resolve these issues, we recommend physically removing the built-in microphone. This process is quite simple. You’ll need to: Remove the screws on the back of the radio. Locate the built-in microphone on the circuit board. It will be a small metal dot on the top-left corner of the board. Carefully remove the built-in microphone. By doing this, you will effectively eliminate the interference, and the external microphone will be able to deliver clearer, more stable call quality without the issues of noise or echo.
