Can’t get airbag light to go off after stereo installation

May I ask if you have received or used this type of Y-splitter cable shown in the picture?

Yes I have. I even tried switching the two ends of the Y connector cable but that did not help

As shown in the attached diagram:

If your vehicle has the A type hazard switch panel
- No Y-splitter cable or our hazard switch panel is needed.
If your vehicle has the B type hazard switch panel
- You need to use the Y-splitter cable and our hazard switch panel.
- You also need to keep the original hazard switch panel (it can be hidden inside the center console).
- Wiring method:
  - Pin 7 (female) of the Y-splitter connects to the original vehicle connector.
  - Pins 8 and 9 (male) of the Y-splitter:
  - One connects to our hazard switch panel (installed on the face frame)
  - The other connects to the original hazard switch panel (hidden inside the center console)

This ensures the hazard function works properly while remaining compatible with the original switch panel.
