On the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the steering wheel buttons are controlled via the CANBUS system. Our head unit communicates with the vehicle through the CANBUS decoder, so normally the buttons should work without manual setup.
Could you let us know whether you would like to customize the button functions through the SWC program, or if the buttons are currently not responding at all?
You can also try updating the three CANBUS programs in the AppStore on the head unit, as this sometimes fixes recognition issues.
If the problem continues, please tell us the exact issue (for example, which buttons don’t work), and we will provide a more targeted solution.
