🚗 Troubleshooting No Sound After Installation (For vehicles with OEM amplifier & CANBUS)

Step 1: Check AMP Power Supply

Ensure the AMP wire in the harness is connected to +12V.
This +12V signal usually comes from the factory connector or CANBUS box to power the OEM amplifier.
If there is no +12V on the AMP wire, the amplifier will not turn on and no sound will be produced.

Step 2: Check Amplifier Volume Setting

For CANBUS vehicles, go to:
Vehicle Settings → Amplifier → The car volume
Adjust the volume level here, as the OEM amplifier volume may be initialized to minimum after installation.

Step 3: Disconnect Battery Negative Terminal to Reset System

If Steps 1 & 2 are correct but there is still no sound, try disconnecting the negative battery terminal for 5–10 minutes.

Why disconnect the battery?

Some vehicles’ audio systems—especially certain premium or factory-installed units—may enter a protection mode or fail to refresh audio signals during head unit installation. This can cause the audio output to be locked.
Disconnecting the battery cuts all power, allowing the amplifier and head unit to reinitialize, often restoring normal audio functionality.

Additional Tips

Always follow proper safety procedures when disconnecting the battery to avoid any electrical damage.
Some vehicles may require an audio unlock code after battery reconnection—refer to your owner’s manual or contact your dealer if necessary.

Hi there I bought the 2GB RAM + 32GB ROM For my 2012 Jeep Wrangler JKU
installation went well Everything was working fine then the volume
stopped working. I tried to disconnect the battery that didn’t help

Hello, sorry to hear about the volume issue. If your vehicle is equipped with a factory amplifier, please first check whether the AMP control wire on the harness is properly connected.
If the AMP wire is not connected correctly, the amplifier will not power on, and the head unit may have no sound output even though it seems to be working normally.

If your vehicle does not have a factory amplifier, then please double-check the head unit’s volume settings and try a factory reset. If the issue persists, it could be hardware-related.
