2010 Buick Lacrosse no sound.

I checked both with and without connecting the rca amp cables. Paid a shop $200, and they couldn’t figure it out either.

Thank you for your message.

Regarding the no sound issue, your vehicle may have a factory amplifier, which requires the amplifier control wire to be properly connected. Please try the following steps:

Check if FM Radio Produces Sound
- Open the Radio app on the head unit.
- If FM audio plays normally, you can try the following solution:
- Go to Radio Settings and enable RDS.
- The amplifier control wire in your harness may be connected to the ANT (automatic antenna) pin. Enabling RDS will ensure continuous power is supplied to the factory amplifier, allowing it to function properly.
If There Is Still No Sound
- Please check whether there is a blue wire labeled “AMP Ctrl” in your wiring harness.
- If present, connect it to a 12V+ power source, which should resolve the no-sound issue.
If the issue persists
- Could you take a photo of the original car connector pins?
- I would like to confirm whether the factory amplifier control wire is located on a different pin.
